I’ve always liked to hear and tell stories.  I wrote my first story at the age of 11 and as a part of a Native American community, the Nanticoke Lenni Lenape Tribe, I was surrounded by many creative elders and family that inspired me.  I have always been amazed at the stories that were told to us as children.

I am thankful for all those who inspired me to be creative.  I have read poems by my mother and grandmother as a child and have a deep appreciation of the thoughts of others. I am fascinated at those who have the ability to tell stories.

I found that it is very difficult to record a story that is told.  There are so many ways to express what happens and each time the story is told, it tells a different version.
